Sync Toy – mirrored backups for SBS2003 or PC’s

My favourite solution at the moment for backing up data is as follows.
Use NT Backup to copy files to an external drive that does not get disconnected from my server/host PC.
Then use Sync Toy V2 to copy files (schedules task using batch file) to the drive which I take offsite everyday.

So your backup is failing.. and this is the error in the event log: “End of Media encountered while backing up to non-removable media.”
NB. I am referring to an error caused, when writing to hard disks (as backup), as opposed to tapes. Tape users, may find little to no help from this post.
