Unable to read your CDROM?

First, try cleaning it with a product called a CD Cleaner.. duh
Second try uninstalling any Drag to disc software and reboot the computer.
If this fails, try this tool from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cd_dvd_drive_problems
If that fails.. you quite possibly need to replace your beloved CD/DVD drive.

NB. It might be helpful to make sure the lastest Windows Installer program is installed on the system.
