Remove Password – Symantec Uninstall

1) Open Regedit
2) Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\ VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\Administrator Only\Security\
3) Change the value for this key from 1 to 0
useVPuninstallpassword
4) Close the registry and retry the uninstall

AVG have released their Virus recovery CD for free.
Check it out, don’t forget to update before scanning.
Some people have said it is slow to scan.. but it is free.
